According to KCBD, Cunningham remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
According to ChurchLeaders.com, Cunningham would manipulate his victims by telling them he would leave his wife once the victim turned 18. He would also allegedly act violently towards the victims.
At a hearing following Cunningham’s arrest, Lubbock County Assistant District Attorney Cassie Graham argued that Cunningham had a long history of alleged abuse of teen girls and had been accused of acting violently, slapping and strangling victims until they lost consciousness.
