Cricket Court Apartment Murder Trial Begins

Testimony in a fatal stabbing case from last year began today in a Lubbock court. 24-year-old Aaron Dial is charged with stabbing 36-year-old Christopher Clark to death in the parking lot of a central Lubbock apartment complex in June of 2010.

Dial was arrested soon after the crime and charged with Clark’s murder. He admits to stabbing Clark during a fight in the Cricket Court Apartment’s parking lot, but says Clark swung at him first. Mark’s wife spoke first in the testimony phase today. If convicted, Dial could face life in prison.
