Thursday on Lubbock's First News, Jason Smith and Eric Firouzbakht, with the Texas Aggie Bar Association, gave details on the upcoming fundraiser that will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

Texas Tech University School of Law's Texas Aggie Bar Association will be hosting the 6th annual Crawfish for CASA  on Sunday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Unlimited crawfish will be offered at The Roof Bar. Tickets for the meal are $16 during the online pre-sale or $20 at the door. A raffle and live music will also be offered. CASA is a community program that trains volunteers to work with abused and neglected children going through court system. The volunteer represent the interests of the child in court and "try to get kids from the foster care system into permanent homes."
