A country-rock band will perform in a Lubbock ISD school to benefit the school’s band trip.

The Coronado High School Band will host a benefit concert on Friday, November 22nd at 6:30 p.m.

The headliner for the concert is the band Moonlight Social, and will perform songs from their album “Heading South.”

Moonlight Social member Jeremy Burchard is a Coronado HS alumnus who was a percussionist in the CHS band.

Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Coronado Band’s spring trip to Dublin, Ireland to play in the St. Patrick’s Day parade.

Tickets are available in advance through the Coronado HS band office by calling 766-0636 or at the door.

The event will be held in the Coronado High School auditorium, located at 3307 Vicksburg Avenue.
