Congressman Jodey Arrington has co-authored a bill with Democrat Congresswoman Cindy Axne of Iowa. It's called the No Budget, No Recess Act.

Arrington says its legislation that improves the congressional budget process by requiring members of Congress to stay at work in Washington until they pass a budget for the year, every year.

If enacted, the bill also requires Congress to honor an April 15th deadline on passing those appropriations. In a press release, Arrington said that," Congress should be held to the same standards and play by the same set of rules as the American people.”

The No Budget, No Recess Act is co-sponsored by at least one other democrat and ten other Republicans.
