City of Lubbock Code Enforcement Officers will be in the Bayless - Atkins neighborhood on Wednesday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. writing citations for violations.

According to a City of Lubbock release, the area will be bordered by 50th Street to the north, I-27 to the east, South Loop 2589 to the south and University Avenue to the west.

A field office will be set up in the parking lot of the new YWCA, formerly K-Mart, at 6201 University Avenue.

Officers will be identifying Junked Vehicles, Nuisance Weeds and Rubbish, Substandard Housing and Zoning.

A roll off dumpster will also be provided for residents to dispose of bulky items.
