Coach Tommy Tuberville’s Wife Involved in Accident

The wife of Texas Tech head football coach Tommy Tuberville was involved in a wreck this morning which left two people with serious injuries.

Suzanne Tuberville ran a red light at  at 57^th and Slide, and crashed into 73-year-old Nelda Purdy’s vehicle, sending Nelda and her 84-year-old passenger to the hospital. They were taken to Covenant Medical Center. Nelda and the passenger were listed in serious condition as of Tuesday afternoon.

Tuberville said over Twitter earlier today that Suzanne is ok and asked for prayers for all involved in the crash.
