City of Sundown Under Boil Water Notice

The City of Sundown is under a boil water notice.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality is requiring all customers of the City of Sundown water system to boil their water prior to consumption.

The boil water notice is due to unspecified conditions recently in their water system, which could include breaks in water mains.

The State recommends that all water to be used for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled for two minutes, or use bottled water.

The boil water notice is in effect until further notice.
