The City of Lubbock's annual K-9 SplashFest has been moved to Maxey Pool.  This year's event is sponsored by Alderson Subaru and the Parks and Recreation Department and it will still take place tomorrow, August 14, from 1p-5p.

Pet owners must make sure their dogs are up to date on their rabies vaccination and bring proof via a 2011 rabies tag or certificate from a veterinarian.

Dogs will also be able to compete in various contests including diving and retrieving events.

Maxey Pool is located at 4020 30th Street. Dogs will be admitted for free, adult admission fee is $2.50 and $2 for children 17 and under.
