Former President Obama is embracing an idea that is gaining momentum on the left, a universal basic income. It's an idea that is also embraced by the new face of the Democratic Party, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and even the City of Chicago is looking into a program that would provide a small income for a small amount of people. So is a Universal Basic Income a good idea? My thoughts above.
