Chad’s Morning Brief: Donald Trump and U.S. Muslims
President Donald Trump is being blamed by some in the news media for not speaking out faster against an attack in Portland that left two men dead. Some in the media want Trump to speak out every time a person with nazi sympathies does something. The reason? The media wants you to think Trump is responsible for this crazy way of thinking.
A story from POLITICO also said that Trump missed his opportunity to reassure U.S. Muslims. Haven't we been doing that since 2001? Listen, if you are a peaceful person who wants to better yours and your family's life and you are Muslim, the U.S. has no problem with you. If you are a Muslim who wants to kill people in the name of Islam, the U.S. has a problem you. It's not that hard to understand.
