Chad’s Morning Brief: Democrats Want A Government Shutdown
The Dreamers are getting played by the Democrats like so many other groups have before. The Democrats could avoid a government shutdown and get a deal for DACA recipients but they don't want to make a deal that would include securing the border. Instead the left pretends to care about the Dreamers while using them to score political points and hope a government shutdown will win people over and energize their base. Republicans should stand firm and let the left shut it down.
