Chad’s Morning Brief: Democrats Lose Government Shutdown Battle
The government shutdown only lasted into day 3 before the Democrats surrendered to the Republicans. Most Senate Democrats agreed to a deal that was offered on Friday before the shutdown that would fund the government through February 8th. The winners in this battle are the Republicans and the clear losers? The Democrats.
