On Wednesday's Chad Hasty Show on KFYO, Chad talked about political correctness in the media surrounding the one year anniversary of the shooting of Michael Brown, and commented on an editorial in the Lubbock Avalanche Journal saying that the event was a tragedy from both sides.

Hasty also talked about the shooting of Christian Taylor, a college football player in Arlington Texas and the subsequent firing of the involved police officer. Hasty spoke on the state of law enforcement in the wake of this and other incidents involving police that have occurred since the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson Missouri just over one year ago.

Speaking of the media demands for remorse by police officers who are forced to use deadly force against criminals, and possible repercussions against the involved officers, Hasty said,

The media, the country, the President has spent more time talking about the isolated incidents of officers shooting and killing unarmed black people, they have spent more time on that than they've talked about gang violence in Chicago, which have claimed more black lives.

Hasty continued, saying,

And now every single time there's an incident where a black person is shot by a police officer, it's automatically injustice. And the officer is threatened by a lawsuit, the police department is threatened by a lawsuit, and police officers in this day and age, they can't do their jobs.

Listen to the rest of Chad's thoughts on political correctness affecting the ability of law enforcement officers to do their jobs in the video box above.
