CASA of the South Plains to Host Dodge Ball Tournament Fundraiser [Audio]

Wednesday on Lubbock's First News, Andrea Curl Volunteer Recruitment Specialist with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the South Plains, gave details on their upcoming fundraising event.

CASA will be hosting a dodge ball tournament to raise funds for their services. Curl described the work of CASA: "We recruit and train community volunteers to be advocates for children in the foster system and in court." The tournament will be held at Bodyworks on 4th and Slide on April 3, from 7-9 p.m. Teams may consist of 4-8 people, ages 12 and up. Registration is $100 per team. To sign up, call (806) 687-4242.
