It looks like Burger King is finally going to start focusing more on the "Burger" and less on the "King."

The fast food chain had decided to get rid of its mascot, "The King." The move is part of a new corporate strategy to reinvent the chain's image and focus more on the product rather than a flashy ad campaign.

It seems like more and more fast food chains are starting to phase out their mascots, or get rid of them altogether like Burger King has done. And as far as I'm concerned, it's about time Burger King got rid of this mascot. I never really liked the "King" ads. I didn't find them entertaining at all, and they certainly didn't want to make me go grab a Whopper.

And besides that, he's really creepy...

I'm glad Burger King finally got the right idea. Stop focusing so much on making hip, edgy ads and start putting more effort into actually making good food.
