Brownfield Police Officer Arrested for Tampering With Evidence

On Tuesday, August 4th, a Brownfield police officer was arrested for charges relating to an incident that happened in June.

Esmeralda "Perla" Depoyster was arrested by Texas Rangers, according to KAMC News. 

The charge stemmed from an incident that happened on June 29 for tampering with evidence. It's said Depoyster was off-duty at the time of the incident.

Depoyster was booked into the Terry County Jail on bonds totaling $5,000, She was reported to have posted bond.
