Who Are the Black Gangster Disciples?

The Black Gangster Disciples have roots dating back to Chicago when the gang was first formed in 1958.

Black Gangster Disciples Nation was the result of a 1969 merger between two gangs: Black Disciples Nation and Gangster Disciples.

Conflicts later split the union, creating a faction called the Black Disciples (BD) who rose to infamy in 1994 when BD members executed an 11-year-old with two shots to the back of the head.
