Inspire Nail Salon Unveils Big Effort for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Beginning Monday (Oct. 2) through the month of October, Inspire Nail Spa is taking a big step to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.

$5 of every 'Pedi for the Cure' and 'Dipping Mani for the cure' will be donated to the Lubbock-area Susan G. Komen Foundation.

"I have two sisters who are breast cancer survivors, one is a 9-year [survivor] and one a 7-year [survivor], and they are doing well right now. I strongly believe that (we need) to find money so we can find more, better care...I care for women, I care for the community," said Jonny Dang, co-owner of the salon.

A ribbon cutting will be held Monday afternoon with the Chamber of Commerce to kick off this Breast Cancer fundraiser at Inspire Nail Spa, located at 3410 98th St., Suite 7.

You can help to make a contribution to Susan G. Komen when you get a pedi or dipping mani this month at Inspire Nail Spa. This wonderful spa features a state-of-the-art air filtration system so it doesn't smell like a normal nail spa.
