On Thursday's PM edition of The Chad Hasty Show, District 19 Representative Jodey Arrington joined the broadcast to talk about President Joe Biden's first actions in office.

Arrington and Hasty discussed the president's call for unity in America and the unlikely chance that even the most far reaching actions will satisfy the political left, as well as executive orders signed by the President, including rejoining the Paris Climate Accords.

During his reply when asked about the impact of rejoining the Paris Climate Accords, Arrington said,

America, Chad, is leading in reducing greenhouse gasses, and even over the last four years substantially reducing our carbon footprint...pollutants in the Clean Air Act, they dropped seventy percent since the 1970s when we passed it, while we grew the economy over 250 percent. This is the American way. Not mandates and regulations, but innovation...West Texas is ground zero for oil and gas. It would just absolutely decimate rural economies like ours, and others in Oklahoma and North Dakota and Pennsylvania.
