Arrests Made in Cyber Attacks on Sony Playstation Network
Spanish police announced Friday that they have arrested three men who may be connected to the recent attacks on Sony and other corporate and government websites.
Authorities have identified the men in questions as members of the computer hacking network known as "Anonymous." The network has claimed responsibility for numerous attacks on organizations all over the world, including government organizations in Spain, Colombia, Egypt, Lybia and New Zealand.
It is not clear at this point how involved this group was in the attacks on Sony. About a dozen Sony sites and services have been attacked, including a massive attack on the Sony PlayStation network that forced the network to shut down for over a month.
