1. LFN Roadshow at Reese Golf

Come out and join LFN this morning at Reese Golf. We will get your thoughts on how you thought the legislative session went and speak with State Representative Charles Perry to wrap up the session. We will also have a 3rd mic set up so you can come out and sound off on the issues. Of course we will also have a lot of fun out at Reese. Come on out and say hello and have some breakfast. You can also see Rex get flustered around the girls of Reese Park.

2. Arlington Police test Drones (link)

Remember when we discussed the Miami Police wanting to use drones and people said it wouldn't happen here in Texas? Well, told you so. Police in Arlington, Texas are testing out drones to assist police. The drones will fly around and record what is happening on the ground. This from NBC DFW:

The drones look like nothing more than model helicopters. But at 11 pounds and 20 inches long, the unmanned aircraft would be a powerful asset to the city, Bowman said.

In a City Council briefing Tuesday, Bowman said the aircraft are capable of carrying cameras that shoot high-quality still pictures and video and have night-vision capability. The aircraft also have heat-sensing technology the fire department can use.

Thoughts?

3. Rubio blasts Obama (link)

Senator Marco Rubio is making news and people are listening. According to the National Review, Rubio will be giving a speech soon that targets President Obama. Rubio will apparently take on the President for engaging in class-warfare. According to the Review:

“Quite frankly, I am both disappointed for our country and shocked at some of the rhetoric,” he says. “It was rhetoric, I thought, that was more appropriate for some left-wing strong man than for the president of the United States.”

“Talking about corporate jets and oil companies,” Rubio says, missed the point. “Everybody here agrees that our tax code is broken,” he says, and he is open to discussing tax reform. “But don’t go around telling people that the reason you are not doing well is because some rich guy is in a corporate jet or some oil company is making too much money.”

I don't know about you, but I can't wait to hear more from Sen. Marco Rubio.
