Fill the Boot Campaign Kicks Off

Thursday (May 18), the Lubbock Fire Department began the annual “Fill the Boot” campaign.

The fundraising campaign is hosted by the Lubbock Fire Rescue, Professional Fire Fighters Association Local 972, and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. The fundraiser is to help raise money for research and awareness for muscular dystrophy.

Firefighters will be out across Lubbock from 10am to 6pm Friday (May 19) and Saturday (May 20) accepting donations.

34th and Slide Rd

50th and Indiana Avenue

United located at 82nd & Frankford Avenue

United Marketstreet's located at 98th and Quaker Avenue

19th and Quaker Avenue
