American Heart Association’s Annual Lubbock Heart Ball
It's time again for the American Heart Association's Lubbock Heart Ball. This celebration is a great fundraising event and a time for Lubbock's business and social leaders to collect and appreciate the medical professionals and the work they do.
The speaker list includes meteorologist Ron Roberts and Xavier Ramirez, who collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest during a Slaton football game back in October.
These "Open Your Heart" speakers have personal accounts about the great Cardiac staff and their hard work.
“For 90 years now, the American Heart Association has pursued the mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke,” said Ron Roberts, “The Heart Ball is great way for local presenters, sponsors, and community members to continue fundraising efforts in support of the organization’s mission.”
The American Heart Association will celebrate the Lubbock Heart Ball on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Texas Tech University Merket Alumni Center. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by other planned events. For more information, visit lubbockheartball.heart.org.
