American Diabetes Association to Host Diabetes Boot Camp Saturday

An area gym will host a diabetes boot camp this weekend.

The American Diabetes Association’s “Defeating Diabetes” boot camp will be held Saturday, December 1^st at the Bodyworks location at 4^th Street and Slide Road.

The event will feature a panel discussion for parents, laser tag, ropes course, and adrenaline city for kids, and former Pittsburgh Steeler and Super Bowl Champion Kendall Simmons.

Lunch will be served at noon.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and the program will run from 9 a.m. until noon. Attendees are asked to RSVP by Tuesday at 794-0691, extension 6139.
