Two Amarillo men have been sentenced for their roles in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy.

29-year-old Valentin Roman Sanchez and 34-year-old Jose Luis Pando, both of Amarillo, were sentenced this morning to more than 3 years in prison and 10 years in prison, respectively.

Both men pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine earlier this year.

The duo has been in custody since November 2011.

32-year-old Adrian Garza Baeza, also from Amarillo, was sentenced to more than 11 years in prison late last March for his involvement in the scheme as well.

A press release states that numerous undercover purchases involving large quantities of methamphetamine and large sums of cash were conducted.
