Aircraft Rescue Fire Training at Preston Smith Airport

This evening at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport’s Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter Training Facility a live fire training is scheduled.

The training is set to take place between 8 and 10:30 pm Friday, May 19th. The Training will produce smoke and flames that will be visible from the communities surrounding the airport. Residents in the area should be aware that there is no danger, only training taking place.
