Airbnb, the largest home sharing and rental site in the nation, announced this week that the service had delivered $15.3 million dollars in tax revenue to Texas since May 1, 2017.

At the time, Airbnb estimated that the tax would bring in $8 million dollars. According to Airbnb had 1.5 million guests use the service in 2017.
