Adult and Child Killed in Northwest Lubbock County Crash

Two people have died after an accident in Northwest Lubbock County on Friday, February 4th.
The Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the wreck at approximately 9:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 84 near County Road 1500.
Reports say pedestrians of a single-vehicle crash were walking from the scene when they were hit by another vehicle. 24-year-old Nikkee Danielle Neel, of Lubbock, along with a 6-year-old boy were killed.
An investigation is ongoing.
