In the early morning hours of Sunday, September 20, five units with the Lubbock Fire Department responded to the scene of a structure fire.

The fire occurred at 2402 21st Street around 3:40 a.m according to the Lubbock Fire Department.

LFD also reported heavy smoke was emerging from a detached storage shed when crews arrived on the scene. Fire damage was mostly limited to the contents inside the shed, but minor structural damage also occurred.

No residents were displaced by the fire and no injuries have been reported.

The Fire Marshall's Office was eventually called to the scene and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
