During the Christmas season, there are so many events taking place in Lubbock that are fun for the entire family. On December 13 and 14, it will be time once again for another great event.

Candlelight at the Ranch takes place on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14 at the National Ranching Heritage Center. The event takes place both nights from 6:30 to 9 p.m. and you will want to get there early to find parking.

Visitors will step into a "living Christmas card" while at Candlelight at the Ranch as the ranch recreates the frontier holiday with scenes from 1780 to 1950. Pathways will be lit with more than 4,000 luminaries. Ranch hosts will be dressed in time period clothing.

The event is free both nights but a donation of $5 per family is suggested, though no one will be turned away.
