3rd Annual East Lubbock Visual and Performing Arts Camp

Texas Tech University’s J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual and Performing Arts and the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts host the third annual East Side Arts Camp, a project of East Lubbock Promise Neighborhood.

The camp will run next week from 9 a.m.to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday (, and 12:30-6 p.m. on Friday. Other events include the mural painting from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday and the first Friday art trail presentation 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday.

The camp and art trail presentation will be held at Christine DeVitt Icehouse and Graffiti Education Building, 511 Ave. J and the mural painting will be held at Guadalupe-Parkway Sommerville Center, 405 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
