The opportunity to help an organization which serves many children every year in Texas is coming up very soon.

The 36th Annual Texas Boys Ranch Telethon will run from 7 p.m. until midnight Friday.

The telethon will be held at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts, and burgers, hot dogs, and fajitas will be provided all day for the event.

The Texas Boys Ranch helps to positively impact the lives of abused and neglected children throughout the state. They have helped over 850 children from 120 Texas communities, and each child is provided training in social skills, personal finance, health, safety, home economics, and community service.

The event will be broadcast live on KAMC-28.
