A woman from Texas pled guilty earlier this week to charges stemming from a drug bust that occurred in 2017, when police discovered nearly $7 million dollars’ worth of drugs inside her car.

The discovery was made in South Carolina during a routine traffic stop. 25-year-old Victoria Sanchez of Laredo, Texas, was pulled over on Interstate 85 back in June of 2017 for driving too closely to another vehicle.

Troopers decided to search her car when she failed to provide a driver’s license and couldn’t explain how she had allegedly bought the car she was driving just the day before.

Troopers found 17 pounds of heroin hidden inside a compartment under her child’s car seat. Sanchez pled guilty on Wednesday to a charge of trafficking heroin and unlawful conduct toward a child. She'll serve 32 years behind bars.
