Monday on Lubbock's First News, Mike Laughlin, Tasting Room Manager at Llano Estacado Winery, talked about the upcoming Grape Day to take place on Saturday, October 19th, as an all-day event.

The event will be hosted at the Llano Estacado Winery from 10 am to 5 pm with an entry fee of $5.This fee includes one glass of wine and the glass can be taken home with the guest. Laughlin described the event as "the celebration of the end of our harvest."

Glasses of nearly all the Llano Estacado wines will be served at $3 per glass. The event will also provide live music and show the football games on a big screen indoors. In addition, the event will offer activities geared toward kids, though fun for all ages. Food and other vendors will be present.
