19th Street to Close Between Avenue A and I-27

19^th Street in east Lubbock will close next week.

TxDOT will close both east and westbound 19^th Street from Avenue A to I-27 to all traffic, beginning after the morning traffic rush on Tuesday, October 30^th.

Crews will remove the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad tracks that span across the roadway.

The road will remain closed through Thursday, November 1^st.

Westbound 19^th Street traffic will be detoured at 18^th Street to Avenue B to reconnect with 19^th Street. Eastbound 19^th Street traffic will use Avenue C to 23^rd Street and Avenue A to reconnect with 19^th Street.
