19th Annual Hub City BBQ Is Thursday

This Thursday from 5-8 p.m. is the 19th annual Hub City BBQ. The event, put on by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will be held at the South Plains Fairgrounds for the second year in a row.

At least 96 teams will be cooking in this year's event and you can get a taste of all that BBQ by purchasing tickets on the Chamber's website or at the gate. If you buy tickets in advance, you'll only spend $25. At the gate, ticket prices do go up. A ticket for the event includes BBQ samples, drinks, and entertainment.
