As summer transitioned to fall and students across the state of Texas began returning to the classroom, we saw a dip in the number of kids that went missing in the state. That's the good news. The bad news is that kids are still missing and they could be in danger.

That's where your help comes in. According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, these 15 kids were reported missing in September, and are still missing as of October 2nd.

The boys and girls are from all over Texas including Amarillo, Lubbock, Houston, and the Dallas Fort Worth area. And some are as young as 14 years old. These kids should be in school. They should be laughing and spending time with friends and family. Instead they are missing and possibly far from home.

Please look through the pictures below and see if you recognize any of the kids. As you're looking through these photos, if you do recognize one of the missing children and have any information concerning their current whereabouts where they may be going, call 911 or the NCMEC's phone number at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678). Together, we can help these children get back to the safety and security of their family and loved ones.
