Friday night, the Red Raiders were shorthanded in their 83-76 OT loss against Creighton. Ramsey apparently suffered a leg injury against Iowa and was held out of Friday's game against the Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays had a 46-32 lead at halftime as the Red Raiders shot just 40.6% from the field in the half.  For the second straight game, Texas Tech worked to reduce their deficit during the second half. This time they were able to tie the game at 64-64, with a Kyler Edwards three-pointer, with 5:39 left in the game.  However, Creighton then went on a 10-2 scoring run to have a 74-66 lead with 2:45 left in the game.

Texas Tech had one more run in them, as they went on an 8-0 to end the second half. Chris Clarke's rebound and lay-up with 33 seconds left in the game, tied the score at 74.

In overtime, Creighton jumped out to an 80-74 lead. Then, with 1:56 left in overtime, the Blue Jays grabbed two offensive rebounds in a sequence of three missed shots and were able to drain over 1 minute off the clock.

Marcus Zegarowski led the Blue Jays with 32 points off of 12/18 shooting, 3/8 3-pt field goals and 5/7 free throws. Ty-Shon Alexander also scored 18 points in the Blue Jays win.

During Friday's loss to Creigton, Davide Moretti led the Red Raiders with 23 points and Chris Clarke also scored 17 points. Moretti's 23 was a new career high. Texas Tech's next game is Wednesday, December 4 against DePaul in Chicago.
