WWII & Other Historic Planes To Take Flight Over The South Plains
Get ready to experience a day of history and fun at the South Plains Airshow this Saturday in Slaton. Young and old alike will be able to learn about our nation's military aviation through flight, restoration, and preservation.
Some of the historic planes include the WW2 Warbirds including the B-25 Devil Dog, F-4 Phantom, and more. Those attending will also get to see planes from Franklin Airshows, Tora Tora Tora, the C-47 Skytrain, the P-40 Warhawk, and much more.
Be sure to take water as temperatures are expected to be in the 90's during the day, and as someone who has been to plenty of airshows, I can tell you, it does get warm.

There will also be food vendors and fun for everyone. So make plans to attend and be on the lookout for history in the skies over Slaton and the South Plains on Saturday.
