Wealthy and powerful investor Warren Buffett on Wednesday provided Fortune.com his secret to staying young: eat like a six year old.

"I'm one quarter Coca-Cola," Mr. Buffett said in a telephone interview with Fortune while talking about the death of his friend Don Keough.

Buffett continued: "If I eat 2700 calories a day, a quarter of that is Coca-Cola. I drink at least five 12-ounce servings. I do it everyday."

Buffett often has a can of Coke for breakfast, along with Utz Potato Stix, which is one of his favorite snacks. On the morning of the interview, Buffett had consumed a bowl of chocolate chip ice cream for his morning meal.

Explaining his junk food and high-sugar diet, Mr. Buffett said,

“I checked the actuarial tables, and the lowest death rate is among six-year-olds. So I decided to eat like a six-year-old.”
