Warm and Dry Weather Put Fall On Hold In Lubbock
It doesn't exactly feel like fall in Lubbock and throughout Texas this week. The fall-like temperatures that were felt last week have given way to warmer temperatures and dry weather. Though the warm temperatures are nothing compared to what we saw during the summer, the high temperatures have left some wondering when fall will return.
Lubbock forecasts show high's are expected to remain in the upper 80's and possibly low 90's through Sunday. Monday's high is forecasted to be in the low 70's, and then a front comes through and for fans of fall, you will be very happy with the long range forecast going into next week.
Starting possible late Monday through Wednesday of next week a front could bring wet weather to Lubbock and the South Plains according to the National Weather Service.
High's on Tuesday and Wednesday are forecasted right now to be in the low 70's and then by Friday, Lubbock could see high temperatures in the low 60's.
So if you aren't happy with the current warm temperatures, just wait a few days. Fall will return to Lubbock very soon.
