Walgreens at 3009 Slide Is Closing Permanently, Clearance Items Now Available

The 3009 Slide Road location of Walgreens is set to close permanently as of November 14, 2019.

I went into the store twice yesterday to scoop up clearance deals and saved on average 68 percent. I didn't do the math; it says so on the receipt. And I was stoked to stock up on deodorant, cold drinks, laundry detergent, false eyelashes and more.

It may be picked over when you get there, but I did see a stack of more tags ready to go out onto shelves. Of course, not everything will go on clearance because some items can be sent back or absorbed by other stores.

Be nice to the employees, too. I've already run them ragged checking out my 9,000 items.

If you have your prescriptions at this location (as I did), your records are available at any other Walgreens in town, so just be sure to pick your new favorite for pickup.
