United Supermarkets Offers Tips on Reducing Holiday Stress

Robin Hawkins with United Supermarkets spoke with Lubbock's First News' Tom Collins and Laura Mac on Wednesday about how United is trying to take the stress out of preparing holiday meals.

Hawkins said that a full holiday meal, including all of the traditional sides, are available beginning at $99.

"Part of the holidays and being healthy is not to stress," Hawkins said. "So if you have a lot going on or if you don't have a lot of people coming to your house or coming to dinner we can make dinner for you."

She said that turkeys, prime ribs and sliced hams, plus all the Thanksgiving sides, are also available.

Hawkins said customers can call their local store and even pay for meal over the phone and just pick it up on Wedneday, the day before Thanksgiving.

There is a limited amount of meals available, however, so Hawkins encouraged customers to call and order as soon as possible.
