United Blood Services is still critically low on their supply of O negative blood.

They are currently unable to fill all hospital orders coming in due to the shortage. All are asked to make an appointment to donate blood to help hospital patients during this Christmas season.

Donors must be at least sixteen years old, have valid photo identification, and be in good health. Appointments to donate can be made at www.bloodhero.com, or by calling United Blood Services at 741-1752. You can also drop by the Blood Donation Center located at 48th Street and University Avenue.

The center will be open until 8 p.m. Friday evening, 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, December 19th.
