United Airlines today announced the expansion of their Transportation Security Administration (TSA) PreCheck program to Houston's Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), Terminal C South.  According to United, TSA PreCheck is a new pre-screening initiative that will allow customers to be able to expedite the process for security screening. To participate in the PreCheck program, United customers will have to volunteer information about themselves to the TSA.

Eligible United Airlines customers traveling through the aforementioned Terminal C at Bush IAH will be allowed to leave on their shoes, belts and light outerwear plus keep laptops in their carry-on.

Eligible United MileagePlus members are being invited to participate in the program's initial roll-out.

United is also implementing the TSA PreCheck at the following airports: Los Angeles International (LAX), Chicago O'Hare, Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Reagan National, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Portland and Seattle.
