Two Suspects Arrested for Burglary After Lubbock Police Chase
Tuesday, Lubbock police and the Lynn County Sheriff’s Office were led on a car chase by two suspects.
Police were first called to a residence at 601 East Country Road 7300 at around 2:50 p.m. regarding a report of stolen checks.
KAMC News reports that the suspects’ car was quickly located by police at a different location, at which time the suspects led officers on a car chase that crossed into neighboring Lynn County and then back into Lubbock County. The driver lost control of the vehicle at Woodrow Road and FM 179 and tried to flee on foot.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Bryan Taylor, who was found hiding in some bushes, and charged him with two counts of evading arrest and burglary. His passenger, 38-year-old Angela Hammonds, was also arrested at the scene and charged with burglary.
