Two People in Critical Condition After Rollover on North Loop 289

It’s been confirmed that at least two people were injured Friday morning in a major accident on North Loop 289, near the Pharr RV Park and North Ash Avenue.

KAMC News reports that a vehicle rolled over on the loop in northeast Lubbock just before 5:30 a.m. and now two people are at a hospital in critical condition.

At this time, all westbound lanes of North Loop 289 at the westbound access road between North Ash Avenue and I-27 will be shut down while police investigate the accident.

Westbound traffic on the loop will be forced to exit at Ash Avenue and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
