Train Hits Abandoned Vehicle Left Near Anton

A train hit a car left on the tracks Monday.

A Honda Accord was left on railroad tracks off of U.S. 84 near Anton over the weekend.

Around 7 a.m. Monday, a train hit the vehicle. No one was inside the sedan and none on the train were injured.

Authorities found alcohol and narcotics inside of the vehicle. No word yet if the driver has been taken into custody.
