It’s been hot. Rainfall is still below normal. But somehow we are saving water. On KFYO, Aubrey Spear, the city’s director of water resources explained:
“We have found that during April, May and June, if you put all those together, we’re probably using in comparison with those three months last year about 25% less water than we did last year. We applaud the rain, the little less heat and the citizens of Lubbock for complying with the stage 2 drought restrictions.”
